Between yesterday and today I completed layer 5: burgundy.
Right side shows how much the burgundy layer adds.
Cynthia King came to help. We had a fun time and good chats.
I carved away all the flower parts after as the warm colours are complete.
Before carve in first image/after carve in second.
Next step is to add a green layer on the stems and leaves. Need to decide if I will spot ink or ink the whole block. It is going to take time to spot ink but will also take time to add layers to come to a more robin’s egg blue later for the background.
